TABELINHA: THE TRADITION OF PAIRING CACHAÇA AND BEER
Tabelinha refers to the back and forth of a soccer ball between two players in a friendly game often seen on the beach in Ipanema. It is also used to describe the tradition and interplay between a neat pour of cachaça and beer–the two flavors playing against each other as you pass between sips of the one and then the other.
Here are some great pairings we recommend for each of the Avuá marks.
Radler, Fruit Ale
Mexican Lager, Porter
Brown Ale, Saison, Mid-range IPA
Dry Cider, Fruit Ale
Pilsner, Coconut Lager
